Oops. pyblosxom strikes again.

So, those on Planet Debian may have noticed, I've moved my blog into git, which went fine. And 'git-cloned' it on the laptop for editing, which worked. And then 'git-checkout' on the server. Which didn't.

Bang. All the modified times were updated.

The solution, it appears, it "metadate". Which I'm implementing ASAP.

UPDATE:

The code for the plugin is not at the URL pointed to in sourceforge, but google says its here.

Of course you could also have used metastore by Joey Hess and commit the metadata to git. ;o)

.oO( And what kind of comment plugin is this... )
Thanks, I hadn't heard of metastore. That ones more generally useful.

This is the standard pyblosxom comment plugin, with some changes
to make openid work.

Some day I intend to package up all the pyblosxom plugins. In my infinite free time between work, kids and a part-time PhD.
