New domain name under Jabber?

I've changed the domain name of my blog, etc. from scealnetworks.com to sceal.ie for various reasons: its shorter, I'm doing almost no networking work these days, and I've (personally) no intention of becoming an multi-national corporation in the near future.

Still got the old domain, though, and heres the question: does anyone know if its possbile to redirect Jabber XMPP IM from one domain to another (e.g. in a 301-style redirect?)

And also, here's a new Technorati Profile.

You should be able to just point the XMPP SRV records of the old domain to the new domain's XMPP server, and configure that to accept the old domain as well.
I believe a server implementing XEP-79 Advanced Message Processing [1] is what you're looking for. See section 3.3.1 of the standard. I've never used it myself. Jabberd2 supports it (to which level, I don't know).
